HONOLULU (HI Now) - For more than 50 years, the Rotary Club of Ala Moana has lived its motto of Service Above Self through volunteerism, youth support and local and global outreach.
That spirit of care takes center stage at the inaugural Rotareo Hoedown, a paniolo inspired gala that supports patients and families who need a home away from home through the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, along with The Rotary Foundation and the Rotary District 5000 Foundation.
Plan ahead for an unforgettable night on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 5 p.m. in the Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach Ballroom. Guests can enjoy live entertainment by Dita Holifield and Jared Ming, known as The Surfing Cowboy, along with a curated dinner, line dancing, silent auctions and a lively wine pull station.
The evening will also honor Past President David Arita for his leadership and contributions to The Rotary Foundation, and President Dave Kennedy for his dedication to local community impact.
Tickets, sponsorships, silent auction items, wine donations and monetary contributions all help create lasting impact here in Hawaii and around the world.
