HONOLULU (HI Now) - Homecoming Week is in full swing at UH Mānoa, and it is all about connection, pride and celebrating the people who make campus feel like home.

Students Jenna Weigelt and Blaine Kong say the week gives students a chance to gather outside the classroom, honor campus traditions and welcome alumni, families and longtime fans back to Mānoa.

From Spirit Kick Off to Wellness Day, Mālama Day and Hawaiian culture activities, each day has centered a different part of campus life, from well being and stewardship to community and school spirit.

There is still plenty to catch, and Friday is open to everyone. The free Homecoming Concert and UH Alumni Makers Market run from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Bachman Lawn, with local favorites Rebel Souljahz and Natural Vibrations, plus Christian from Hoʻonua opening and Osnizzle.

Shoppers can browse creations from alumni makers while showing off vintage UH gear, thrift finds or aloha attire for the day’s theme.
