HONOLULU (HI Now) - Meaningful work can build confidence, independence and connection.

Lanakila Pacific Employment Services helps youth and adults with disabilities explore careers, prepare for work, find jobs and succeed with ongoing, individualized support.

The goal is to match each person’s strengths and interests with opportunities to contribute at work and in the community.

Partnerships can help make those opportunities real. On October 28, Lanakila Pacific will host its first Work360 event, bringing partners together to share employment resources and pathways.

The organization also works with the Hawaii Restaurant Association’s Restaurant Ready program, which prepares participants for hospitality careers with workplace, customer service, food safety and industry training.
