HONOLULU (HI Now) - Hawaiʻi’s largest pickleball event is bringing four days of competition, family activities and a product expo to the Hawaiʻi Convention Center from Thursday, October 8, through Sunday, October 11.
Admission is free, with more than 33 indoor courts hosting amateur and open divisions, plus a Collegiate Invitational.
The inaugural Collegiate Invitational features teams representing the University of Hawaii, the University of Virginia, Indiana University and the University of Southern California.
Round-robin play begins Thursday October 8 from 5 to 9:30 p.m., followed by playoffs Friday October 9 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The tournament schedule also includes senior doubles Thursday and Friday, men’s and women’s doubles Saturday, and mixed doubles Sunday. Keiki can join the action in a tournament Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

Gold medal matches for the $$ Ball men’s and women’s doubles divisions are scheduled for about 4 p.m. Product expo activities and giveaways add to the weekend lineup. Schedules are subject to change.
The championship finals will air live on K5 and stream Sunday, October 11, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tournament directors Margie Katras and Tadd Fujikawa invite the community to join the fun and volunteer.
