HONOLULU (HI Now) - Since the early 80s, the Cuban born bandleader, trumpeter and vocalist has been a part of the island’s Latin music scene, turning dance floors into family parties and introducing generations to the joy of salsa, son and timba.
Havana Nights is Rolando Sanchez’s love letter to those roots, reimagined as a warm and intimate acoustic experience. Expect swaying guitar, deep bass grooves, soulful vocals and the irresistible pulse of congas and cajon, all woven together by a handpicked crew of talented friends.
This show comes with extra candles on the cake, because October 10 also happens to be Rolando’s birthday. He will be celebrating the best way he knows how, making music with friends and inviting fans to join the fiesta for two special seatings at Kapono’s at The Lounge.
Located in Hawaii Kai Shopping Center with early and late shows at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m, grab your tickets now at tickettailor.com.
