HONOLULU (HI Now) - Through traditional dance, music, and storytelling, communities find strength in spaces where their true identities are honored and celebrated. U.T.O.P.I.A. Hawaii brings this vision to center stage at the Hawaii Theatre.
The inaugural Miss Showgirl of the Pacific Pageant, welcomes sister organizations from Alaska, Washington, Las Vegas, Utah, and Samoa to share cultural siva presentations and unite the Pacific diaspora.
Taking place on September 25 at the historic Hawai‘i Theatre, the evening features competitors showcasing their talents across swimwear, eveningwear, question and answer, talent, and showgirl categories.
Contestants are competing for a crown handcrafted from five pounds of Swarovski and Preciosa crystals, along with five thousand dollars in prize money and a ten thousand dollar sponsorship package toward the Miss Island Goddess Pageant in Seattle.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with a silent auction on the second floor featuring handcrafted lei and community prize packages that directly fund vital local community programs.
