Celebrate 15 Years of Impact at Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii Community Festival Celebrate 15 years of ocean stewardship at Magic Island on Sept. 12 with a beach cleanup, live music from Sister Rexie, local food, and family festivities.

HONOLULU (HI Now) - Sustainable Coastlines Hawaiʻi (SCH) is inviting the community to celebrate 15 years of environmental impact at the inaugural Coastlines & Community Festival, a free public event taking place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Magic Island.

Sustainable Coastlines Hawaiʻi is inviting volunteers, families, community organizations, local businesses, and environmental advocates from across Hawaiʻi to participate in a harbor-to-harbor cleanup across Waikīkī from 1:00–3:00 p.m., followed by a community festival from 3:00–8:00 p.m. featuring live entertainment, including special guest Ooklah The Moc, local food, educational experiences, and hands-on activities that celebrate the many ways people can care for Hawaiʻi’s coastlines. Hawai’i Bicycling League is also supporting with free bike valet and Biki is offering a discount code for bike rentals for festival attendees looking to make their commute to the festival more sustainable.
