HONOLULU (HI Now) - University of Hawaii Athletics is gearing up for a packed season of football and women’s volleyball, offering fans new ways to support their local teams.
Packing the stands is about watching the games and showing pride in Hawaii’s home team. With Hawaii News Now, the UH games are more accessible than ever. Tickets are officially on sale now, bringing everyone together for another year of local sports.
Director of Marketing and Fan Experience Eric Mathews, also known as Captain Fun, is rolling out themed game days to get everyone in the stands.
The big highlight is the white out game on September 5 against UNLV, with a goal to completely sell out the stadium.
Fans should also plan ahead for the November 14 matchup, where the first 3,000 people through the gates will secure a limited-edition Timmy Chang bobblehead.

Over on the court, women’s volleyball returns with high energy as coach Joshua Walker makes his return to the program.
