HONOLULU (HI Now) - Hawaii’s business community keeps moving forward when leaders make time to learn from each other, and Leadership Conference 2026 is built for that shared momentum. The longest running leadership gathering in the islands returns for its 13th consecutive year on Friday, July 17. This event invites professionals across industries to step out of the daily rush and into a day of fresh ideas, practical tools, and real connection.
The conference runs 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, with sessions designed for people who want to lead with purpose and stay grounded in community impact. Keynote speaker Matt Emerzian will focus on what it takes to show up with presence and intention, setting the tone for a day that is equal parts inspiring and useful.
Between sessions, attendees can explore the expo area, including a chance to get professional headshots for a $25 donation to Easter Seals. It is a simple add on that feels good, looks great, and supports neighbors in a tangible way.
The day wraps with a closing session titled Aloha Leadership: Presence, Character and Modern Leadership featuring Bob Harrison, Michelle Kauhane, and Duane Kurisu. Breakouts also include Your Next Chapter: Designing What Comes Next with Wendy Hensel, Laura Beeman, and Carlos Penaloza, giving attendees a plan ahead moment for whatever comes next in their career or company.
