The countdown begins for the 2026 Native Hawaiian Convention Celebrate culture and community at the 2026 Native Hawaiian Convention July 20-22, plus Keiki Hula July 23-25 at the Blaisdell Center.

HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Native Hawaiian Convention is one of the biggest feel-good gathering points of the summer. A place to celebrate culture, connect with community, and leave with real resources that support Native Hawaiian success across the pae ʻāina and beyond.

Through July 20-25, the Hawaiian Council will host the 2026 Native Hawaiian Convention and the 51st Annual Queen Liliʻuokalani Keiki Hula Competition and Festival at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center.

A packed lineup will speak to the present and invest in the future. With needs based scholarships available, more people can be part of the experience, whether you are going to learn, network, or simply soak up the energy and inspiration. Also, expect powerful performances, deep cultural pride, and the kind of moments that stay with you long after the last chant.

When you are ready to take the experience home with you, make time to shop local. The public is invited to explore a Nā Mea Hawaiʻi curated marketplace running July 20-25, featuring exclusive made in Hawaiʻi releases, designer collaborations, cultural activations, and more than 50 local businesses in one weeklong celebration.

The Hawaiian Council is a member based nonprofit dedicated to advancing Native Hawaiian cultural, economic, and community development through programs in business, housing, policy, tourism, and workforce support.
