Kailua Coffee, founded by Brooklyn Elaban, turns the desserts and flavors many of us grew up loving, into handcrafted coffee beverages. The Hawaiʻi based pop up is known for house made syrups, cold specialty drinks, and unique creations like the Hunneh Girl. Hunneh Girl is a Honey Nut Cheerio inspired latte, plus Malasada soft top and Chantilly flavors. Brooklyn’s goal is to build a coffee space that feels authentic to Hawaiʻi, where every drink starts with a local story.
Puʻuhonua Mākeke is also spotlighting Tiare Horen, founder of Hoʻonani Wellness and makuahine of Kamakani’s Mea‘Ai. Kamakani’s MeaʻAi brings keiki creativity to the table with homemade focaccia flavors. These flavors include rosemary and sea salt, roasted garlic and parmesan, and a special caprese focaccia with roasted tomatoes, fresh basil, and balsamic reduction. Hoʻonani Wellness adds a moment to pause with 30 minute introductory facials, offering rooted care for women and mothers through supportive, intentional self care.
