HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Localicious® Art & Recipe Contest is back, giving Hawai‘i’s students a chance to showcase their creativity in the kitchen and on canvas! Presented by Hawai‘i Gas and the Hawai‘i Agricultural Foundation, this annual contest encourages students to explore local ingredients, healthy eating, and the importance of supporting Hawai‘i’s farmers and food sustainability.
Students in grades K-8 can enter the Art Contest by designing school lunch plate, while high school students can compete in the Recipe Contest by creating an original, healthy recipe featuring locally grown, caught, or raised ingredients. Recipe finalists will go head-to-head in a live cook-off this summer!
