It’s been a tough year for businesses in general, and Teapresso Hawaii wants to send a big mahalo to all its loyal customers for the continued support. HI Now host Kainoa Carlson caught up with Teapresso Founder Steve Nguyen to get a closer look at some new treats coming in 2021.
Nguyen says Teapresso has felt the effects of the pandemic, particularly in the downtown area. However, he says Teapresso is fortunate to have been open for its customers throughout the pandemic. While many businesses have unfortunately had to closer their doors, Teapresso continues to expand.
“With the huge support from our customers, our owners, our partners at ABC Store, Times Supermarket, II Gelato, we were able to push through and complete our plans to open locations in Wahiawa, Mililani, Salt Lake, Bihsop Square and Waikiki inside Island Gourmet Markets,” says Nguyen.
In 2021, Teapresso will be working with its sister companies, Soleil Hawaii Bakery and Aloha Pops, to provide local bake goods to all of its Teapresso Bar locations.
“We are incorporating Teapresso flavors and the boba tea concept into these popsicles and popcorn,” Nguyen adds. “On behalf of Teapresso Bar, I would like to thank you for all of your support in 2020! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year!”
Remember, next time you’re at Teapresso, you can also try an exclusive HI Now drink at any of its locations! HI Now hosts Kanoe Gibson and Kainoa Carlson created their own specialty drinks, which include Kanoe’s “K-Presso,” and Kainoa’s “KC Cooler.”
