Pampanga Kitchen first opened in Waipahu in August 2015. The eatery offers a wide range of authentic Filipino dishes plus some local favorites! Enjoy the mouthwatering flavors of the Philippines with homestyle cooking. From pancit to pinakbet, there’s have a number of delicious offerings. The eatery actually got its name from Pampanga, the culinary capital of the Philippines.
“That’s where I learned how to cook, how to appreciate a lot of good Filipino food,” says Al Garcia, owner and general manager at Pampanga Kitchen. “Very traditional Filipino food with modern flare and a lot of delicious flavors.”
Garcia says the restaurant’s deep knowledge of Filipino cuisine and attention to detail are what sets Pampanga Kitchen apart from other restaurants. He also says using the freshest ingredients is of the highest importance.

“Windward Mall is a destination. A lot of people come here. So we’re here, ready to serve the community,” he adds.
Garcia says you can find a lot of soups at Pampanga Kitchen including Chicken Papaya, Sinigang, and Sari-Sari. And if you’re craving dessert, be sure to save room for lumpia and everyone’s favorite: Halo-halo! In Filipino, that means “mixture” or “mixed,” which is exactly what you do — mix together all of the sweet ingredients to make one delicious dessert.
