HONOLULU (HI Now) - For 75 years, HouseMart has been part of everyday life in Hawaii. The locally owned and operated company started in 1951, and it has grown alongside generations of families who shop for crafts, home projects and daily finds.
Everyone is invited to join the milestone celebration on Saturday, October 17 at all Ben Franklin Crafts, Ace Hardware and Daiso Hawaii stores.
The day will include giveaways and family friendly activities. Creative Director Joy Shimabukuro and Marketing Manager Lisa Loo join HI Now Daily with a quick Halloween themed craft to try at home, plus a look at 75 years of creativity and community.
Ben Franklin Crafts has locations on Oahu, in Hilo and Kahului. Ace Hardware serves Hawaii Island, Maui and Kauai, along with stores in Las Vegas, Washington and Oregon. Daiso Hawaii has locations on Oahu and in Hilo.
