HONOLULU (HI Now) - Bringing meaningful local stories to island living rooms requires immense dedication, creativity, and teamwork behind the lens.
For the past five years, Brandon Kubo has poured his passion into Hawaii News Now, playing an essential role in uplifting the community through our lifestyle series storytelling show.
His journey reflects what hard work and dedication can achieve, starting as a sales assistant and advancing to produce HI Now Daily.
Throughout his time, Kubo proved to be a versatile powerhouse. Whether managing audio, stepping behind the camera, editing footage, or guiding the overall direction of the show, he consistently ensured that every show ran smoothly.
While saying a hui hou is never easy, the entire team is deeply grateful for his five years of service and positive influence across the station. He will be missed both in the control room and across the studio floor.
