To help bridge that gap, Foodland continues its annual Give Aloha campaign through September 30, partnering with organizations like the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii.
Shoppers can direct donations at checkout, buy Give Aloha gear, or redeem 250 Maikaʻi points to ensure young people have access to safe learning spaces and mentorship.
Beyond giving back, community gathering spaces offer a chance to unwind and share a meal together. Pau Hana Bar inside Foodland Farms Pearl City provides an energetic gathering hub to watch sports, try pupus, and vote in the weekly Pick ‘Em matchup challenge for a chance to win house favorites through October 19.
The bar menu features dishes like Crispy Fried Pork Belly Poke, Warm Spicy Garlic Krab Dip, and signature cocktails designed for casual get-togethers.
Pairing nourishment with daily hydration, local entrepreneurs are also stepping into the spotlight. Local beverage company KRUZM launched its Ono Juice on market shelves, offering a blend of lilikoi and orange crafted with vitamins, clean electrolytes, and low sugar.
