The Kuakini Breast Health Institute emphasizes seamless care coordination, while Komen’s ShareForCures initiative brings patients into a nationwide registry to accelerate breakthroughs.
Dedicated resources like the Komen Breast Care Helpline also connect patients with culturally responsive navigators, offering emotional support, treatment guidance, and practical aid.
Community members can help advance this vital work by joining the annual gathering at Kapiolani Park on Sunday, October 11. The morning begins with an opening ceremony at 8 a.m. at the bandstand, followed by the official walk starting at 9 a.m.
