HONOLULU (HI Now) - Leading with Purpose is a new interview series celebrating women across Hawai’i who are making a difference in their communities, careers, and fields of passion. Through conversations with leaders, innovators, mentors, and changemakers, the series explores the many ways purpose can inspire impact.
Presented by Hawai’i School for Girls at La Pietra, the series reflects the school’s mission of educating young women to lead a life of purpose while highlighting the diverse paths women take to create meaningful change. By sharing these stories, Leading with Purpose aims to uplift women who are shaping Hawai’i and inspire the next generation to pursue their own passions with confidence, curiosity, and purpose.
Jennifer Grems is Head of School at Hawai’i School for Girls at La Pietra. With more than 30 years of experience in education and school leadership, she is dedicated to fostering academic excellence, community engagement, and opportunities that empower young women to thrive. Rachel Wagenman is Director of Marketing & Communications at Hawai’i School for Girls at La Pietra. As an HSG alumna and former television producer, she is passionate about storytelling and amplifying the voices of women making a difference in Hawai’i.
