HONOLULU (HI Now) - HI Now Daily tagged along with Passion from the Kualoa Ranch education team to see what students and tour groups discover when they visit. The goal is simple and meaningful, learning how to care for animals, connect with nature, and pick up ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi along the way. Our Lauren Teruya learned the Hawaiian words for the different animals on the ranch.
From Pickle the sweet pipi to Sweet Pea the donkey, plus goats, a miniature horse, a sheep named Napoleon, and even chickens, it is a relaxing, joyful experience that feels like a mini adventure with a big heart.
