The 77th Annual Booksale by Friends of the Library of Hawaiʻi is back at Ward Centre from June 13th to 21st. Shoppers can browse more than 125,000 books, CDs, DVDs, comics, puzzles, cassettes, and more. Even better, every find supports a good cause.
The best part is that every great find helps support Hawaiʻi’s public libraries. Friends of the Library of Hawaiʻi works to support and promote libraries across the state, while the Hawaiʻi State Public Library System inspires curiosity and creates opportunities for everyone to read, learn, and connect.
Families can also keep the fun going all summer long with the statewide Summer Reading Challenge. Readers can sign up at their Hawaiʻi public library, log their reading, receive incentives, and get entered to win exciting prizes like Zippy’s gift certificates or round trip tickets on Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines.
