HONOLULU (HI Now) - Hawai‘i shoppers can support local and give back on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Kahala Mall (4211 Waialae Ave). The free, family-friendly event runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features nearly 40 local businesses with handcrafted jewelry, apparel, local treats, and one-of-a-kind gifts.
Anya Teruya says the Kahala Mall location marks an exciting first for Hawai‘i’s Shop Local Pop-Up, expanding opportunities for local entrepreneurs to reach new audiences on O‘ahu’s east side. Beyond shopping, the event creates a community gathering where residents can discover new vendors, celebrate local talent, and support small businesses in a fun, accessible setting.
This pop-up also adds a meaningful charitable component through RMHC Hawaii, which provides a home-away-from-home and essential support for families whose children are receiving life-saving medical care on O‘ahu. During the event, attendees can visit the RMHC booth near the Water Fountain in Center Court to participate in a donation drive by choosing an item from the organization’s Wish List tree, purchasing it at the mall, including from local vendors, and dropping it off on site. RMHC will also have McFun-Raiser coupon books available for purchase, featuring McDonald’s items plus deals at local attractions.
