Hawaii-born clients find home and investment in Las Vegas with ADG Realty Hawaii-born clients Ivan Lee and Alan Oku share how ADG Realty helped them buy and invest in Las Vegas real estate with an ohana-style approach.

HONOLULU (HI Now) - For many Hawaii families, the dream of owning a single-family home with a yard, a pool and a garage can feel just out of reach. But for Ivan Lee and Alan Oku, two Hawaii-born friends, that dream became a reality in Las Vegas, with a little help from ADG Realty.

Lee relocated with his wife from Hawaii to Las Vegas earlier this year, making the leap from island life to the mainland for the first time. It was also the first time the couple had ever purchased a single-family home. After a month and a half of searching, they found their place in the Mountain Edge community, buying a home with a pool and garage for $330,000. Back in Hawaii, a comparable property would have easily topped $1 million.

The key to making such a big move feel manageable, Lee says, was trust. He turned to his longtime friend Derek at ADG Realty, a Las Vegas-based group specializing in family relocation, property investment and property management. From the start, the experience felt less like a real estate transaction and more like family. “It was just totally ohana,” Lee said.

Alan Oku had a different journey but a similar feeling. Rather than relocating full time, Oku splits his time between his home in Kahaluu on Oahu and Las Vegas, where he purchased a single-family home as an investment property. He says ADG Realty never rushed the process or pushed him toward something that did not fit his needs.
