HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Hawaii Technology Development Corporation is inviting the public to a free event celebrating local manufacturers at the HTDC Showcase: The Heart of Local Manufacturing, set for Friday, April 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Entrepreneurs Sandbox in Kakaako. The event will feature six companies that have received support from HTDC’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership and Manufacturing Assistance Program: Aloha Cut and Cloth, Hawaii Ulu Cooperative, Lanakila Pacific, Oceanit, Pawniolo Pets and SKY Kombucha. Manufacturers will share their stories in the PechaKucha format, presenting 20 slides at 20 seconds each, before inviting attendees to visit showcase tables to taste, touch and experience their products firsthand. HTDC Project Managers Wendy Oshiro and Kristy Carpio appeared on HI Now Daily on April 21, 2026, to promote the event. HTDC’s mission is to make Hawaii the Pacific’s engine for innovation, investment and impact.
