HONOLULU (HI Now) - Kirin Restaurant is one of the original participating restaurants of the Waikiki SPAM JAM, and this year marks the festival’s 22nd anniversary on Kalakaua Avenue. The event returns this Saturday, April 25, from 4 to 10 p.m. Kirin will be serving three signature dishes crafted especially for the festival: SPAM spring rolls, SPAM manapua and SPAM pork hash. As one of the longest-standing participants in Hawaii’s largest food festival, Kirin Restaurant represents the deep community roots and culinary creativity that have made SPAM JAM a beloved annual tradition.
Festival proceeds benefit the Hawaii Foodbank, Waikiki Community Center and the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii. For more information, visit SPAMJAMHawaii.com and follow along at @waikikispamjam.
