HONOLULU (HI Now) - Hawaii’s largest food festival, Waikiki SPAM JAM, returns to Kalakaua Avenue on Saturday, April 25, from 4 to 10 p.m., featuring more than 40 food and retail booths, three stages of live entertainment and free admission to the public. Hula Grill Spokesperson and General Manager Michelle Whitton and Chef Steve Balantac join HI Now to preview the festivities and demonstrate two standout dishes, kalua pork and SPAM nachos and a SPAM pate pork belly Banh Mi sandwich.
The evening will also feature a SPAM-themed drone show over Waikiki Beach at 8:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event benefit the Hawaii Foodbank, Waikiki Community Center and the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii.
