HONOLULU (HI Now) - Longs Drugs is here to share everything you need to make graduation and May Day season special in Hawaii. Longs Drugs Ambassador Kiana Cayabyab and Enjoy Snacks Marketing Specialist Jessie Dunn also demonstrate popular lei-making techniques, including how to use a lei kit with tubing, ribbon and your own candies to customize a lei for your graduate, the classic Hawaiian snack and ribbon style and the trending duct tape with snacks method. For those looking to preserve the memories, Longs Drugs photo services offer photo prints, graduation cards and invites, wall decor, posters, banners, yard signs and keepsake gifts, all customizable with a variety of templates or your own photos.
Longs Drugs is also teaming up with Enjoy Snacks and Madden Corporation for free community lei-making events from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following locations:
- April 21: Kailua location on Oahu
- April 24: Prince Kuhio location in Hilo
- May 1: Kahului location on Maui
No reservation is needed to participate.
