Innovation showcase at Capitol to spotlight ocean, space sectors The Chamber of Commerce Hawaii will host an innovation showcase at the Capitol on March 12, spotlighting ocean and space sector businesses.

HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Chamber of Commerce Hawaii and Hawaii Technology Development Corporation will host Built Here: Hawaii Innovation Showcase at the Capitol from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, March 12. The event will convene local manufacturers, ocean and space leaders and policymakers to showcase the state’s growing innovation economy. Co-sponsored by Senator Lynn DeCoite and Representative Greggor Ilagan, the showcase provides businesses a platform to exhibit products and services while engaging with lawmakers on regulatory challenges, infrastructure needs, investment priorities and workforce pipelines. The event emphasizes Hawaii’s emerging ocean and space sectors, industries positioned for growth given the state’s geographic location, research institutions and technical talent pipeline. The event is open to legislators, stakeholders and the public. Booth space is limited, and organizations can register by March 3.
