HONOLULU (HI Now) - Hawaiʻi Community Lending has revived its Kānaka Anti-Displacement Fund following devastating Kona storms that struck statewide in March 2026. Seeded with $1 million, the fund aims to raise $20 million in its first phase to help native Hawaiian homeowners on Hawaiian Home Lands repair and rebuild their properties. The organization is providing technical assistance, grants and loans to restore homes damaged by flooding, roof damage and cesspool failures across multiple islands.
