INPEACE empowers community, small businesses at cultural event INPEACE will showcase community programs and support seven small businesses from its Center for Entrepreneurship at cultural event in Hilo.

HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Institute for Native Pacific Education and Culture will showcase its community programs and support small businesses at an upcoming cultural event in Hilo. INPEACE, which has been empowering communities through education and culture for over 30 years, offers 11 place-based programs statewide reaching 17,000 community members. The nonprofit will partner with the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism to feature seven vendors from its Center for Entrepreneurship program, including Sugar Caddy, a local golf apparel company that creates Hawaii-inspired gear for golfers. INPEACE provides free programs focused on early childhood education, equity and economics to promote self-sufficiency in Native Hawaiian communities.
