HONOLULU (HI Now) - Owners Cheryl DeAngelo and Lisa Meyer have big news on two fronts. After 16 years on Kapahulu, Side Street Inn on the Strip is relocating — but fans of the restaurant don’t need to worry. The same award-winning comfort food, signature cocktails, and staff known for their aloha are all making the move. The new venue will also offer validated parking across the street, live local music, and large party areas ideal for family gatherings and special occasions.

At the same time, the duo is celebrating the opening of Haliʻa by Side Street Inn at Wai Kai, bringing that same mission of serving local comfort food with aloha to a brand new home. To mark the occasion, Haliʻa has a lineup of upcoming events including an Easter buffet brunch, Kupuna and First Responders Day, karaoke night, and Wags and Wines for dog lovers.
