HONOLULU (HI Now) - Christie Brooke is bringing her vintage-inspired jazz sound to The Velvet Monkey at Kapono’s at the Lounge in Hawaii Kai on Saturday, March 14 — and she’s bringing a surprise guest. The Kāne’ohe native and Castle High School Performing Arts alum, known for blending jazz, bossa nova and old Hollywood glamour, will perform a speakeasy-style version of her “Jazz in Waikiki” show across two ticketed sets: 6–7:30 p.m. and 8:30–10 p.m. Expect live originals including “Sapphire Sea” from her new Jazz in Waikiki EP in one of Oahu’s most intimate new waterfront venues.
