HONOLULU (HI Now) - Machete’s Mean Sandwiches has reopened at a brand-new ground-floor location inside Aiea Shopping Center, right next to Starbucks. The upgraded space features both indoor and outdoor seating, giving customers a comfortable place to enjoy their handcrafted deli-style sandwiches. Known for their house-made bread baked fresh daily, Machete’s stacks their sandwiches high with premium ingredients like Boar’s Head meats and cheeses, wild-caught tuna, and real mayonnaise. Their menu spans four bold categories — Mean, Meaner, Meanest, and The Machete — with wraps and new items on the way. Open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Machete’s also offers online ordering, delivery, catering, and gift cards.
