HONOLULU (HI Now) - Odyssey VR at International Marketplace Waikiki is merging the world of gaming with community giving through a special charity food drive benefiting the Hawaii Food Bank. Now through February 23, anyone who brings in a food donation will receive 15 minutes of free VR gaming or rides — making it easy and fun to give back. With dozens of family-friendly VR experiences, a racing simulator, and even Pokémon trading cards on-site, there’s something for everyone.
Leading the charge is world-ranked gamer Christopher “Flash” Harris, who achieved the number one rank globally in Madden 26 on Nintendo and is passionate about using gaming as a force for good in Hawaii. Odyssey VR’s mission is simple: build a bridge between gaming culture and the local community to inspire charitable giving and create new opportunities for Hawaii. Stop by, play, and help support local families in need.
