HONOLULU (HI Now) - Senator Donovan Dela Cruz is spotlighting the Hawaii Food & Product Innovation Network (FPIN), a statewide initiative designed to strengthen Hawaiʻi’s economy by supporting local farmers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. FPIN connects education, workforce development, and industry to help residents develop skills, launch products, and grow Hawaii-made brands for global markets. At the center of the effort is Career Foundations, developed by McKinley Community School for Adults, which provides accessible training in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, professional development, and agriculture.
