HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Hawaii Lion Dance Association is bringing the energy and tradition of lion dance to celebrate Lunar New Year. This nonprofit organization provides free lion dance and kung fu training in a family-friendly environment built on “fun, fellowship, and fitness.” Open to ages 5 and up, the group performs at weddings, graduations, corporate events, and community celebrations across Hawaiʻi while helping preserve cultural traditions.
