Blaisdell Exhibition Hall on Friday, February 6, this beloved and free event invites people of all ages to enjoy a heart-warming morning filled with music, dancing, and aloha. With performances by the legendary Royal Hawaiian Band, appearances by local VIPs, and hundreds of kūpuna tearing up the dance floor to everything from ballroom classics to pop hits, this cherished Honolulu tradition highlights the active lifestyle and joyful camaraderie of senior club members from across O‘ahu. Originally started in 1969, the dance is organized by the Honolulu Department of Parks & Recreation and showcases the enduring vitality of the city’s kūpuna community.
