HONOLULU (HI Now) - HI Now Daily host Rachel Pacarro was at Ala Moana Center previewing the Hoʻomākaukau Opening Ceremony, a cultural celebration welcoming athletes and visitors ahead of the TransPacific Volleyball Championships. Organized by nonprofit Seven Gen Culture, the free, public event features cultural performances, music, and local food vendors while emphasizing community, character, and the spirit of aloha through cultural immersion and teamwork.
