She emphasized advance preparation including creating safe spaces, ensuring proper identification with registered microchipping(required by state law), exercising pets beforehand, and consulting veterinarians about anxiety management .She also detailed what to do if your pet gets lost or if you find a lost pet in the aftermath of the New Year’s fireworks.
