DHS offers $50 incentive cards for Medicaid/Med-QUEST parents to support keiki health Parents on Medicaid/QUEST can earn $50 per child for annual well-child exams through Hawaii’s Child Wellness Incentive Program.

HONOLULU (HI Now) - Edie Mayeshiro, Medical Assistance Program Officer with the Department of Human Services – Med-QUEST Division, shares details about the Hawaii Child Wellness Incentive Program (HCWIP), a pilot program designed to support keiki health.

Eligible parents enrolled in Medicaid or QUEST can receive a $50 prepaid incentive card for each child who completes an annual well-child exam. These exams ensure children receive vaccinations, developmental screenings, and preventive care, helping families stay proactive about their health.
