HONOLULU (HI Now) - Hawaii News Now and Kamehameha Schools’ Kālele Media Training Program wraps up its 15-week course with six talented interns sharing their final projects. Team #1—Josslyn Rose, Tony Dia, and Talia Agliam—explored rural pregnancies on Lana‘i, while Team #2—Von Ka‘ana‘ana, Raydan Sedeno, and Tahina Tomaszeck—dove into the significance of Hawaiian place names. The program educates and empowers individuals in content creation and media while uplifting the community. Interns reflect on their learning, share the importance of their projects, and discuss how they plan to use their new skills to impact the lāhui.
