First Alert Weather: Rain in the Forecast
The First Alert Weather team is tracking a cold front and low-pressure system in the northern Pacific that is expected to impact Hawaii over the weekend. This system is likely to bring:
- A better chance for rain on Sunday, including
- Scattered showers during the event
- Potential for heavier showers Sunday afternoon, especially around Oʻahu
- A few showers midweek due to lighter winds, and increasing clouds Thursday as a weak front moves in
- A generally wet pattern Sunday into Monday across parts of the island chain
Because we’re still several days out, the forecast may shift as new data comes in. Viewers are encouraged to check back often on the First Alert Weather app for updated timing and intensity of the rain.
