Cooling Cancer donates $100,000 to University of Hawaii Cancer Center Cooling Cancer raises $750K+ for UH Cancer Center with a sold-out golf tournament, bringing cutting-edge cancer care home to Hawaii.

HONOLULU (HI Now) - Cooling Cancer is a local nonprofit turning grief into purpose by raising funds for cancer research and patient support in Hawaii. Founded by Jason after losing his father to cancer, the organization partners closely with the University of Hawaii Cancer Center—one of only 73 National Cancer Institute–designated centers in the nation—to help keep cutting-edge clinical trials and treatments available right here at home.

Through its wildly popular annual golf tournament, which sells out in just 48 hours, Cooling Cancer has donated checks as large as $100,000 and raised about $750,000 to date. The funds support life-saving research and services that touch countless families across the islands.

Community members can give back by donating, volunteering, or becoming a sponsor or vendor through coolingcancergolf.org, and by joining the next tournament each September at Lake Country Club.
