Meanwhile, the 4th Annual Makana Mele Concert Fundraiser on December 12, 2025, at Paliku Theatre, Windward Community College supports the Henry Kapono Foundation’s Hawaiian Music Scholarship, helping students learn directly from master artists and keep Hawaiian music traditions thriving. The concert, starting at 7:00 pm, will feature live performances by Jerry Santos and Dr. Kamuela Kimokeo, along with hula by Hālau Ka Lā ʻŌnohi Mai O Haʻehaʻe, under the direction of Kumu Tracie and Keawe Lopes.
