Honolulu City Lights kicks off November 29th Honolulu City Lights opens Nov 29 at Honolulu Hale—tree lighting, electric light parade, Henry Kapono concert, vendors & free family fun.

HONOLULU (HI Now) - Friends of Honolulu City Lights and the City & County of Honolulu invite the community to opening night on Saturday, November 29 for the Holiday Tree Lighting, the Public Workers Electric Light Parade, a Henry Kapono concert, a block party with food vendors, photos with Santa, and festive displays that remain through December.

New this year the event has an earlier opening night and special free-admission windows; commemorative ornaments are available with proceeds helping keep the event free. The parade broadcasts on:

  • Saturday, Dec. 20, 7-8pm on KGMB
  • Tuesday, Dec. 23, 9-10p on KHNL
  • Thursday, Dec. 25, 8-9p on KFVE
