HONOLULU (HI Now) - Chef Dale Radomski of the Sheraton Cocoanut Beach Hotel, Lions Coffee, and Sheraton Kauai is rallying community support to bring Team Hawaii back to the world-renowned Snow Sculpture Championships in Sapporo, Japan. As one of only ten teams invited globally—and celebrating both the 50th anniversary of the festival and Hawaii’s status as the 50th state—the team is seeking financial assistance for travel, lodging, and meals. With a legacy of 21 invitations and millions of annual visitors to the festival, Team Hawaii hopes to showcase the islands’ artistic talent, share Hawaiian culture, and inspire pride back home.
