HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Henry Kapono Foundation’s On the Rise Program is now accepting applications for its 2026 season, offering mentorship, paid gigs, and real-world experience to 15 emerging musicians across Hawai‘i. Program managers Kalaʻe and Kalena Parish share how OTR empowers artists through performance opportunities, collaboration, and hands-on coaching. Applications are open statewide from Nov. 17, 2025 to Jan. 5, 2026, with a special Kaua‘i sponsorship and upcoming Collaboration Show on Nov. 19 showcasing OTR talent.
