HONOLULU (HI Now) - At 15 Craigside, part of the Arcadia Family of Companies, residents and YMCA day campers came together for an intergenerational event filled with dancing, bingo, origami, and shared connection. COO Brea Komagome says the collaboration—sparked by CEO Susie Schulberg’s service on the YMCA board—aligns both organizations’ missions to learn from and give to every generation. Next up, the YMCA Teen Club will host a day of activities for residents, building youth confidence while honoring kupuna as living treasures. The goal: have fun, make friends, and create meaningful moments.
