HONOLULU (HI Now) - Fé María Vásquez (Fé like Santa Fé) is a filmmaker and fine artist whose mission is to use beauty to awaken, heal, and inspire—reconnecting audiences to presence and possibility. Rooted in Venezuela and shaped by life in Hawai‘i and Europe, she bridges cultures and mediums through acclaimed film work and vibrant fine art. After rebuilding her career in Hawai‘i’s patriarchal film industry, she turned bias into fuel—leading with kindness, professionalism, and two guiding reminders: use rejection to power your dreams, and never let others decide your limits. Career highlights include 1st AD credits on Karol G & Shakira’s TQG (Barcelona) and Katy Perry’s Harleys in Hawaii, plus art featured on HGTV’s Renovation Aloha. Committed to community, she honors Hawai‘i’s culture, mentors young filmmakers, and speaks at career fairs. Next up: directing a feature film (shooting next autumn), two group exhibits at Ho‘omaluhia Botanical Garden, a California commission, and two new series. Call to action: Experience Art That Moves You—collect a piece that reconnects you to presence and possibility.
