Free mental health services for Hawai‘i’s children & youth through CAMHD CAMHD offers free, culturally-sensitive mental health services for Hawai‘i’s youth with serious challenges.

HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Hawaiʻi State Department of Health, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Division (CAMHD) provides mental health services free of charge for eligible children and youth in Hawaiʻi who have severe emotional and/or behavioral challenges. Services include assessment, case management, and an array of therapeutic supports provided in the home and community, or temporary out-of-home placements. The division makes every effort to provide culturally-sensitive, evidence-based, child- and family-centered services, and includes youth and family in all aspects of the service planning and treatment decisions.
